App Privacy Policy

Covered Apps

This policy applies to all macOS applications published by Phaseable Inc., currently including:

• GlassDock
• Ember

The Short Version

1. Data We Collect

None. Phaseable apps do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data, usage data, diagnostic data, crash reports, analytics, or any other information about you or your device.

2. Network Access

Our apps do not connect to the internet. There are no outbound network requests of any kind — no analytics endpoints, no license servers, no update checks, no telemetry. This is enforced at the build level: every release is verified to contain zero networking APIs before it ships.

3. Third-Party SDKs and Code

Our apps contain no third-party SDKs, advertising frameworks, analytics libraries, or tracking code. All code is written and owned by Phaseable Inc.

4. On-Device Data

Some apps store preferences locally on your Mac (for example, your last-used session length in Ember). This data never leaves your device and is stored using standard macOS mechanisms (UserDefaults). You can delete it at any time by removing the app.

5. In-App Purchases (Ember Pro)

Ember offers an optional Pro upgrade via the Mac App Store. All purchase and payment processing is handled exclusively by Apple. Phaseable does not receive, store, or have access to any payment or financial information. Apple's privacy policy governs any data collected during the purchase process.

6. Children's Privacy

Our apps do not collect any data from any user, including children. They are safe for use by anyone.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we ever change our data practices, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Any future app that deviates from this zero-collection posture will have its own dedicated privacy policy linked from its app page.
